Has anyone tried snoringsolutionsite.com?
I'm sorry y'all but I really hate cpap so I'm always looking at these "alternatives". Has anyone tried this wrap thing that goes around your head and supposedly holds your bottom jaw forward so your tongue doesn't fall back and block your airway?
I would not put a thief if my mouth to steal my brains.

I looked at the charts on that website and it appears that most, if not all, of those patients should be on CPAP. The "after" chart isn't much better than the "before".
Diagnosed 9/4/07
Sleep Study Titrated to 19 cm H2O
Rotating between Activa and Softgel
11/2/07 RemStar M Series Auto with AFlex 14-17
10/17/08 BiPAP Auto SV 13/13-23, BPM Auto, AHI avg <1

That web site needs to be reviewed by the FDA because it is selling a non-approved device to treat a medical condition. If there were an effective alternative to CPAP, it would not be sold using dodgy web pages like that.
The only generally effective alternative to CPAP is a tracheostomy.
The only possibly effective alternatives for mild to moderate apnea are certain surgeries and custom fitted oral devices that are fitted by specially trained dentists; and these are only effective for some patients. Surgery is generally ineffective for sleep apnea and oral devices are only effective for some patients -- and both are quite expensive.
The only treatments that are effective for severe sleep apnea are CPAP and tracheostomy. Surgeries are not effective for severe sleep apnea and oral devices are not approved for use with severe apnea.

Um.... It's just a chinstrap. Nothinge else. Looks like a ripoff of the Tiara Topaz design. You can get the Topaz cheaper than this version at https://www.cpap.com.
So.... Yeah! I've tried it! I wear it every night! With my cpap machine....
Idiots...

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula.

I was looking at this last week and thought,
wow, if I was still using the Optilife, that would make a great chinstrap.

Now that I've effectively mixed two threads up....
SeaPappy says it looks like a Hanes product. I was just wondering if the sizes were for little boys' vs. bigger boys'. Definitely underpants though....
LOL,
B.
