activa mask

Post by kilrush_ » Tue Jun 28, 2005 11:24 am

I love the activa mask very much. I was wondering if anyone is having any trouble with it coming apart. It has come apart on me about three times. It is coming apart at the plastic rim. I know I toss and turn a lot maybe that is causing my problem. THANK YOU MARY

make sure the snaps are COMPLETELY seated when you assemble the mask. It is easy to think you have it FULLY snapped but it isn't.

then once its together, NEVER take it apart. Wash it without disassembly and rinse well, and dry it hanging up somewhere, shaking out excess water.

Thats my approach anyway.

Oddly enough the frame will sometimes fit even if it is positioned incorrectly. One night last week I threaded my frame back in place with more difficulty than usual--then I found out it was actually not angled properly--it snapped but not loudly like usual and the bottom snap would not fall into place very well.

I agree with kilrush, after that I do not remove the frame when I wash it.
