s8 escape humidifier

Based on 8 hrs sleep, my s8 escape humidifier uses different amount of distilled water each night. Sometimes there is hardly any water left. I use a ultra mirage II nasal mask with a chin strap. Could it be that the mask leaks too much or that the pressure is off, or could it be something else? Thanks.....

It sounds like mouth leaks to me. A chinstrap doesn't work for most of us. It will keep the jaw from dropping open(it needs to be quite tight to do this), but it won't stop the air from squeezing through the lips. You might want to try a full face mask, or tape, or poligrip strips. Here are some Rested Gal links for mouth leaks;
