Lowest Max Pressure on ResMed Assist SV

Post by Lubman » Mon Sep 01, 2008 7:46 pm

Does anyone know what the lowest manual setting for max pressure to which the Enhanced Resmed ASV can be set? It is lower than the max pressure setting on the orignal which is either 8 or 9

The lowest manual setting for Max PS to which the Enhanced ResMed Adapt SV can be set is 9cmH2O.
The lowest manual setting for Max PS to which the original ResMed Adapt SV can be set is 8cmH2O.

Banned,
Thank you very much.
I was really hoping that the max PS of the Enhanced machine was lower, but you certainly would know.

A recent sleep study indicated that a lower Max PS might help me.

Lubman, you can achieve the equivalent of "Max PS" just as low as you'd like to go with the Respironics BiPAP AutoSV. The only reason I use the word "equivalent" is because the set-up procedures and parameters are slightly different.

More details can be found here:
http://bipapautosv.respironics.com/

Hey, it's been ages since I emailed you. So PM me with your email address if you and/or your doctor would like an evaluation copy of the BiPAP AutoSV provider's manual.
