M Series Auto BiPAP Manual

Post by SeaPappy » Fri Aug 29, 2008 8:02 am

Anyone with a copy of the Respironics M Series Auto BiPAP provider/clinician manual to share? I'd like to get as many bugs fixed on my own before bothering the minds that overlook this site. Thank you in advance.

Rafter rattler (I think)forwarded the clinician manual to me in PDF. I tried drag-and-drop to this message - nope. (Just shows online skills are not my forte, eh?) PM me and I will forward to you. And the hits just keep on coming....

The link I provided takes you directly to a pdf file that can then be saved on a PC. I just clicked the link and it worked. Is this the same pdf you're speaking to?

The link you provided is for the "User" manual and the manual SeaPappy is looking for is the "Provider" manual......it's been sent to SeaPappy.

I just now sent it to SeaPappy. Sorry about the delay, SeaPappy. I hadn't seen your topic or your PM until today.

I got it. Many thanks Wulfman and Rested Gal. RG, I set my machine to your suggestions I found in the archives and get the best night of sleep I have had in months. I only changed one thing; I turned off biflex and set rise time for the longest time (3) and it matched my natural breathing rhythm so well I couldn't hardly tell it was on.

The M series Bi-PAP is nothing more than a computer that resets or beter spoken unlocks during the following procedures.

UNPLUG THE MACHINE

Place it on the table open the panel and depress the two arrow keys.

While Holding the arrow keys down with the other hand plug in the power, continue to hold the keys until it starts up and you see the unlock symbol appear on the screen

Make your changes press the power button to save and repeat if not satisfied with the changes

BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN MAKING SUCH CHANGES AS IMPROPER CHANGES CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS AND EVEN FATAL PROBLEMS IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING.

DO NOT TAKE THIS MACHINE TO BE A TOY IT IS KEEPING YOU ALIVE RESPECT IT AS SUCH !!

Hey, MMCGOWAN, I just bought a lightly used pre-M Series Bi-PAP Auto. I need to set it to my titrated pressures and VPAP settings as on my Resmed. I'm hoping to find someone who can send me the Clinician's Manual as a pdf file.
