INNOMED HYBRID or ORACLE oral mask

Post by Ms Piggy » Fri Aug 22, 2008 11:19 am

Hi,
I am considering trying the HYBRID mask or the ORACLE oral mask and plugging my nose as apposed to ,the usual, mouth taping plus it's good to have something that would work if one has a cold. In spite of added strap I find the comfortelite 2 I am using leaks easily when I turn, using large size pillows. comments anyone?

I need to know just where the straps usually fit near the ears on the Hybrid, I have what may be tiny ear cyst (depends which Dr. one asks) which cause enough pain to disturb sleep with any prolonged, 3-4 hours, pillow pressure. I avoid anything near my ears.

Is anyone really happy with the Hybrid? de - chin flapped or otherwise modified or not? what sort of life span could one expect.

thank you, any input will be much appreciated.

currently using Comfortlite 2, My beloved Breeze now seems to be too leaky even with added tie across the face.

The oracle was the first mask I tried- while I really wanted it to work, it was awful. I tried plugging my nose with the plugs and I tried the swimming nose clips- nothing worked. Plugging the nose was a real problem. I now use the hybrid and love it... Very comfortable. I love being able to breathe through my mouth, usually when I'm falling asleep, or my nose. The headgear shouldn't bother your ear- look at the pictures and see if you can tell.

Good luck!

I really like my Hybrid... I use it as my main mask.
