Post by RPADAMS » Sat Jun 25, 2005 12:51 am

It is the weekend and they did not enable the Ramp feature on my CPAP. Does anyone know who to enable the Ramp feature? Please Help!

Is this the one where you are not suppose to hold both dark gray buttons while plugging the power coard to the machine? Holding both buttons for a few seconds until it beeps?

I did not know they had to activate the Ramp feature. My came already activated I guess. Make sure you are waiting until the machine starts your pressure before pressing the ramp button. If you hold down the ramp button a few seconds it will go into the menu program and allow you to set you ramp pressure (using the up and down arrows). Maybe your ramp pressure is set too high.

I appreciate your responses! The ramp feature must be activated by the Tech. and without a Clinical Manual I cannot enable this feature. You can adjust the C-Flex (exhale resistance) but the Users Manual does not tell you how to enable Ramp. I guess its something they want to control but I couldn't fall asleep last night because of the pressure. I guess I will have to wait until Monday.

Did you try what Dave Munson suggested in the first reply to this post?

I was thinking that I would get in trouble for that one.

I found about the same wording (how to get to the clinical menu) in a prior post on this board. At the time I had a different machine.

You are welcome.
