I'm Home For Now

Post by RickSt » Fri Jun 24, 2005 11:38 am

Hi all...
I'm home for now but I have to go back to Little Rock Monday and have 2 stints put in.I have 3 blockages but one is so old that it has rerouted itself. They said that if I weren't so young (49) that they'd do bypass surgery on me.My doctors have put me off work at least until next Wednesday.I've been told not to do any physical activity, don't get into any stressful situations and don't get too hot.

I still don't have the results of my night of titration yet.I'm hoping that they've put a rush on it.

Its good to hear from you. Take it easy, rest up and hang out online.

Best of luck when you go back in!

It is good to hear you are back at home. You take care and stay in the house, since you are having some hot weather there. I would tell you to sit back and enjoy a cold piece of watermelon., But it is probably a little early for those fantastic Arkansas watermelons. I used to enjoy them when I was stationed at Little Rock Air Force Base in Jacksonville.

Hey Rick
Good luck on the stints, I just had one put in back in April and it wasn't to big of a deal. It's tough takin' it easy after you have them put in, but you gotta do it or you'll end up back in there again. Well really take it easy and enjoy the time off, let us know how everything goes.

Forgot to tell you if they tell you to go to Cardiac Rehab do it, I put it off for a month thinking I'd do it on my own and of course I didn't, well needless to say my progress isn't as good as it could have been. I signed up today and start next week, so if you can go and get it done.

Hi RickSt,

Glad to hear that you are home -- there's no place like it -- surely not the hospital!

Good luck with the stents -- I hope that all goes well and try not to worry -- it will all work out!

Best wishes,
Sleep well,

Jane
