Oh no. Snoring again

Post by kc8rak » Sat Aug 02, 2008 1:32 pm

Uh oh. My dear wife made a comment to me this morning that i am snoring again. I have been on my auto cpap since March 2007. I have it set 13-15.5 cm auto. My AHI is always around 3-5 when i check it 2-3 times a week. For the last 8 months i have been more and more tired also. Not like when i first went on cpap. Hmm anouth sleep study?

What's your leak rate?
Since you're using a nasal mask, my first suspicion is that you're leaking air out your mouth.
Are you taping or using Polident adhesive denture strips to seal your mouth?

There are lots of other avenues to explore before wasting money on sleep studies.
