Can somebody help me with what these mean and what are considered good ranges?

EFFICACY STATS AND GOOD READINGS
Press - pressure. There is nbo good or bad. It's what pressure your machine delivers
Leak - depends on your mask (if you are using a Resmed machine, the leak number is a calculated value based on the mask that is programmed into the machine and the pressure at which you use it). The leak values are in liters/second above the designed leak rate for the mask entered in the machine. Zero is a good number here, but anything less that 0.4 is supposed to be OK. Keep it as low as possible
AHI is the average number for apneas and hypopneas you have per hour of therapy. Less than five is considered "normal". It is a sum of AI and HI.
AI - average number a apneas you have per hour (apnea = restricted air flow (at least 75%) for at least 10 seconds). The goal it to keep this number as low as possible
HI - average number of hypopneas you have per hour of therapy (hypopnea = air flow restriction (at least 50%) of at least 10 seconds). Again, as low as you can get them is the goal.
Usage - time you spent with the machine on.

Press=pressure. The pressure that the xpap is set to. This is found at the titration study. It is the amount of pressure needed to keep the airway open. It doesn't matter what pressure anyone else uses, you will need the pressure that works best for you.
Leak=the amount of pressure being lost from leaks. Usually from the mask or mouth breathing. Leaks will ruin treatment. Each mask comes with a chart showing the intended leak rate for that mask at a given pressure. Anything over the intentional leak amount will need to be addressed.
AHI=apnea hypopnea index. How many apneas and hypopneas you had per hour. take the total # of apneas per sleep session, add the total # of hypopneas for the same sleep session, divide by the # of hours slep during that session. Anything under 5 is considered normal.
AI=apnea index. How many apneas per hour. # of apneas divided by # of hours slept.
HI=hypopnea index. How many hypopneas per hour. # of hypopneas divided by # of hours slept.
Usage=how many hours you used your xpap. We should all be using the xpap everytime we sleep. Even for naps. Most insurances want to see at least 4 hours per night to show compliance. Most of us try for all night every night.
Hope some of this helped
