M Series Plus C-Flex CPAP Machine for sale
I have an M Series Plus C-Flex CPAP machine w/humidifier that I'm trying to sell via cpapauction.com (http://www.cpapauction.com/auction-list ... chine.html).
Please check it out if you are in need of one. My husband only used it for 1 night so it is like new. Traveling case, large mask, hoses, cords, manuals - everything is included. I just hate to have it sitting in a closet when someone could get some use out of it.

I'm curious.....did he switch machines or quit.....or die?

Well, no it wouldn't.......especially if it was heart-related or from an accident where he may have fallen asleep. Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) takes its toll on a person in many ways and is linked to many other medical conditions.red.tigerlily wrote:I'm guessing I would shock you if I told you he did die though not while he was wearing the CPAP. Thanks for your thoughtfulness.
If your husband actually did die, please accept my condolences. We have many people come here who flat-out state that they hate this therapy and others who have problems adapting to it. We try to get them headed in the right direction and hopefully successful with their therapy.
It's more likely that a person will die WITHOUT their mask on than while they're wearing it and (successfully) using this therapy.
Best wishes,

My condolences.
You have our deepest sympathies.
That's what I originally suspected. I take it he "quit" after only one night then?Anonymous wrote:My husband is alive and well. I was just shocked that you would phrase a question like that in such a seemingly thoughtless way. Thank you for your concern.
Personally, I consider "quitters" to be the thoughtless one. They're narcissistic and don't care about their loved ones. If his health hasn't seriously suffered yet......it will.....give it time.
If you could have experienced the number of "wannabe quitters" we see on these boards, you would take a different view, too. Sometimes we have to be harsh to bring them to the reality of how this therapy will actually help them and what the consequences of giving up are.
Most of the "quitters" we DO see are mostly crying out for help with their therapy because their "medical professionals" have done them a great disservice. The success/failure rate for this therapy is roughly 50% (according to past studies).......and that's not very good.
As far as that last sentence I left in that quote........YES, we ARE concerned. We know how good a person can feel with successful therapy and what can happen to one's health if left untreated.
Do YOU care about your husband's health? If you DO, get him back on the hose......or get him to come here.
