Respironics M Series Humidifiers Question

Post by curtcurt46 » Mon Jul 21, 2008 7:16 pm

I own two M series humidifiers. One I believe is the newest version and has round ports that connect it to the tank to the cpap. I also have a new M series pro with what I think to be the intermediate humidifier tank model. The ports on it are rectangular and the clasp is black like the newer unit. I have had no leak problems from the newer round port tank. I remove it and wash it weekly.
I am wondering if the improved rectangular port tank has any history of leaking? If so, what are the lessons learned so I try to avoid any potential leaks.
Many thanks for any comments.

Always remove the water chamber BEFORE picking up or moving the machine, ALWAYS.

Gumby,
Thanks for the tip. I knew this, but did it anyway the other day without thinking. Luckly, it did not spill much and nothing got into the cpap.
Very good advise.

See, yea thats what I'm talking about. You can't see it and just forget. I think that was the majority of the problem. Sleepy deprived people moving water machines, ha.
