Anyone knows where to get cheap encoreviewer? My encore pro is not working correctly, it can't communicate with the smnart card reader correctly no matter how I try to install the driver.

Hello,

Did you install the driver for the cardreader from the Encore CD ? That is the one you need. Do NOT install the driver from the cardreader's driver cd, because that will not work with EncorePro

What are you running on your system? XP or VISTA? There are several things you can do to keep the card reader up and running.

1. Just as stated above install with the encore-pro program, not the card reader itself.

2.After installed make sure under the usb is checked in the encore program itself.

3. When that is done go to Accessories in your program files and to the "run" type in "services.msc"

4. Find the reader in the start up section and switch it from manual to auto-start.

That seems to work to keep the card reader available.
