Could someone who uses a Smartcard reader for the Resmed machines please post (or send me, in private msg) and image of what the data looks like that you get out of it? I'm trying to decide if it's worth buying one. Does it record arousals? Or does it just plot the AHI over the sleep period?

The software can display:
Detailed data: a running tally of flow limitations (AI and HI), Pressure, and Leaks. There is also a minute by minute AHI graph.

Summary statistics: AI, AHI, HI, AI, media, 95% and max leak and pressure, and therapy hours.

Summary graphs of AHI, AI, HI, and hours of use.

It won't record arousals (I think you have to be wired up for that (EEG). It has capability for oximetry, but that requires the reslink module (from what I have read here - its expensive).

The reader just gets the data off the xPAP and to the computer. The software is required from the data download and interpetation.
