Regarding The superjet vs. MrGrumpy Flame War

Post by forumadmin » Mon Jun 30, 2008 8:17 am

Howdy,

I've not read the posts exchanged and I don't know the disputed topic. I do know that PMs are pouring in and I'm taking valuable coder time off a CPAPtalk redesign to clean up the mess made by people who are not using the Delete Spam button to delete spam.

Therefore, neither of you will have the ability to remove posts any longer. Should I see a string of posts deleted from one of you two, I'll assume the other did it and ban you. No jury, no appeals, no replies to PMs.

This board exists to help CPAP users. Period.

Anything not in that spirit has no place here. Those who try to hijack our marketplace of ideas by using censorship, foul language or general nastiness will be cast out.

This means disagreements are to be resolved with clear arguments and polite, respectful words. I've watched hundreds of huge, heated debates carried out properly on CPAPtalk over the years. I know it can be done and expect it will be done.

Please respect this place, its intentions and your fellow CPAPtalkers.

Johnny

He got his delete spam button taken away - poor baby.

Of course, it wasn't spam he deleted but he doesn't seem to understand what spam is. It was restored - some of it twice. He showed no regret of deleting it.

I do hope he can find adequate help out there and find out what spam is, learn basic social skills, and to get his medical issues solved with all these specialists.

Good Luck Mr Grumpy.

McGrumpy VS FlameWar

Post by SleepyNoMore » Tue Jul 01, 2008 11:40 pm

I don't think we need to get another WAR of sorts started on this post!

I think McGrumpy's feelings just got hurt and I don't think he meant anything he said about leaving this forum and not ordering from our hosts cpap.com, Fred seems to be a very nice person.

I think things just got a little out of hand and that McGrumpy and FlameWar need to shake hands and just forget about it and both of them continue posting on this forum as they did before this WAR got started..

We are here for support, and to support , and to learn from the more experienced, not to mention the fun along the way, the jokes, etc., We're Not here to fight and call eachother names just because we disagree with eachother, we all have our own point of views and if one dosen't agree, click away and read the next post.

Goodluck to both of you guys!

Are we seeing the signs & symptoms of sleep deprivation here? Before our weary eyes?

President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

And that concludes today's patient support session...

Hope to see everyone here---bright eyed and smiling---tomorrow!

We do have a case of DID here as MrGrumpy was first Eric and now he is Fred. Again, he needs help and we all hope he gets it. There is only so much we "laypeople" non specialists can do.

I need a "confused" cat or kitten picture here please but will settle for these.

Those are very smart kittens!

I still say nutritional advances in the pet food industry need to be throughly investigated... especially in light of all the recent yet promising increases in feline literacy.

Mr. Grumpy,

I hear they have senses of humor for sale at Walmart, maybe you should check it out. I think having sleep techs on this site that will freely answer your questions free of charge is a valuable resource and something I would hate to lose. I am sure no-one would miss your negativity.
