I'd say this is spam, but...

I'm just waiting for Jules, Gumby, Babette, Goofproof, and so many more to take over.

You go, fellow forum folk!

. . .but I don't know why it is posted here. Does the Mars Lander need a xpap during the Martian night.!

I find the Mars soil not to be a problem, I just blow it off with my trusty N.A.S.A XPAP Hose. Remember N.A.S.A, all you brought back from the Moon was some rocks, and we never let you go back. In the U.S.A. the masses need free government cheese, even if it's a little green. That's all it takes to get on our good side. Jim

I was wondering if anybody had news of that highly annoying black ice problem on Mars.

Besides, I thought NASA already solved the lumpy soil problem by just renting a roto tiller.

Which soap did you use to clean it off?

It's the same little green fellows that are running the cameras......
Sheesh. Awww, come on people, have they ever done a movie without camera-folks???
Since they couldn't send the camera-folks with the lander, they had to rely on local talent....
When the dirt gets stuck, they just shake the screen......you don't see 'em because they're behind the camera.....
Simple

Hmmm, and to just think that there are people who believe that Neil Armstrong's "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind," was made in Area 51.

OK, now...that does beg the question: How much of that especially powerful rocket fuel HAVE we wasted? And, how many gasoline powered vehicle could the stuff have provided? Isn't that a petroleum based fuel?

We just sent up a special trip to fix the Spacelab's toilet. Tell me that wouldn't have provided the energy for one day of operation in the US--PLEASE!

The Moonlanding was filmed on Howard H,'s land outside of Las Vegas.

It gets cheaper each time they have a mission, because the hole they make in the ozone layer gets bigger and bigger, so it uses less fuel each time.

A Space Shuttle External Tank (ET) is the component of the Space Shuttle launch vehicle that contains the liquid hydrogen fuel and liquid oxygen oxidizer.

a pair of reusable solid-fuel rocket boosters (SRB); the propellant consists mainly of ammonium perchlorate (oxidizer, 70 % by weight) and aluminum (fuel, 16 %); they are separated two minutes after launch at a height of 66 km and are recovered after landing in the ocean, their fall slowed by parachutes

However the lander platform used much Diesel, on the trip to the lanch pad. Jim

XPAP could have a use on Mars, The air is to thin to breath, a Super XPAP could compress it to make it breathable.

Spot-on there, Doug! Mars is anybody's game. China may very well get astronauts there first. Besides, I think it was a Chinese-made roto tiller that NASA had to rent to solve their lumpy soil problem. Rumor has it that's all retail giant Space Outfitters & Discount Camp Supply stores seem to carry these days---to the dismay of quite a few interplanetary horticulturists I am sure! And what a huge intragalactic discount supply chain "S.O. & D.C.S." has become!

Regarding the topic of NASA and energy research:
http://ntrs.nasa.gov/search.jsp?N=0&Ntk ... Ntt=energy

That search yields 54,306 NASA documents related to the topic of energy.

And there are plenty of new and formerly esoteric areas in energy research up for consideration by NASA. Zero-point Energy (ZPE) is attracting more theoretical analysis as one possible source of energy:

NASA ZPE Documents Search

NASA Zero Point Energy Speculation Waaaay Back in 1999

A General Public News/Discussion Portal Dedicated to ZPE of All Things

Wha??? Someone Thinks ZP Energy Conversion Is Already Practical???
So does the local AutoZone stock a catalytic converter replacement for that?

Calling all modern-day Nikola Teslas (Никола Тесла)... We know you're out there somewhere in the zero-point energy lattice of space. We need you with or without roto tillers!

Wow Jim -- that's an old picture!!! Either STS-1 or STS-2.......They stopped painting the tank after that to save weight....I don't remember the exact figure, but I think it was over 400+lbs of paint to make it white.....

When people tell me that the moon landing was faked, I always ask, "How do you explain the laser reflectors on the surface???". It's how we know to within a few cm's how far the moon is from the earth at any given point in time.
I have to laugh when I hear the "They faked it" stories....
The biggest tragedy is that we're now going to spend billions and billions to do something that has already been done -- we never should have left, but for the shortsightedness of greedheads and politicians......

And it was $$$ well spent!!!!! Many of the "things" we have in our modern world are direct results from that effort......

cheers

Tang, Foam Bedding, made out of the U.S., life wouldn't be the same without the Space Program.

One of the things that would have taken place if we had set up a base on the moon, Bush would have attacted the alien forces stationed on the dark side of the moon, and we would have another distant war with no end to deal with. The good part the weapons of mass destruction wouldn't have to be as strong as the gravity is 1/6 of Earth. We could blow things up with less explosives. Jim
