Going back for more titration, do I need to lug my machine?

Post by PocketDragonFriend » Fri Jun 06, 2008 3:46 pm

I've been on CPAP since January but not having the results the doctor expects. I'm going in for a full night titration tonight. I figured I should bring the mask that I'm using but do you think I need to lug my CPAP too? (I'm maxed out at 20 so there's no wiggle room for them to try on that machine. Think I'm going to BiPAP.)

I don't think it would do any good. They most likely will need a machine that they can change the pressure and settings remotely. I would take your own mask and pillow. Your own mask and pillow might help to make it seem a LITTLE like home.

Good luck!

I just went through this. Had to use their machine but I brought and used my own mask.

If they hadn't gave you the low end of the stick, you could have got the software and reader and the retest would be uncessary. You could have a retest every night. FREE! Jim
