A Light Bulb Went Off....

Post by bap40 » Sun May 25, 2008 7:47 am

the other day. This would be my 2nd realization about how I am feeling and doing since starting therapy. This one happened while I was cleaning the kitchen. I know I have been very lax in my housekeeping for a few years now. I had been wondering where that cleaning person had gone to. I have always kept a clean house, despite the many kids and animals that were always around.

I blamed it on our move from Newport News, Va to ND about 4 yrs ago which was indeed a huge weather change. Going from always outside to a more inside lifestyle.

Yesterday, it dawned on me that the old cleaning person has Returned!!

Is this the kind of things that some of you are talking about after being on the hose for a few months? I started with my machine in Feb. and am 100% compliant with use.

Yes! About 6 months in, after discovering this group, buying the software, and greatly lowering my AHI, I remember a the first weekend where I had lots of energy. I went around doing lots of jobs that I had put off because I had been too tired to do them. It was Sunday afternoon before I realized how good I felt. Isn't CPAP great!

Sam

CPAP therapy is so easy you can do it in your sleep!

I'd say this is more like...

A Lightbulb went ON!

Congrats... it does feel good, doesn't it?

Yup! I had that day once. I think it was last summer. It didn't last with me, but then, I've never been interested in a clean house. I have accomplished several other things I'd been letting lapse, however.

Congratulations!
B.
