Just got my Headrest in the mail...
Just got my Headrest in the mail...
...and I tried it out briefly and it seems a LOT more comfy than the Breeze I was using. I'm looking forward to being able lie on by back again

Evan, glad to hear you're more comfortable now. Hope the Headrest mask works well for you after you get in a full night with it.
If you decide you want to continue using your Breeze occasionally, here's a link to some modifications people have made to masks -- scroll down to find the Breeze "fixes":

Some have removed that pad on the back and rigged other headgear to make the Breeze more "back sleeper friendly."

AHI 1.5 is great!!! There's not enough difference between AHI of 1.1 (or zero, for that matter) and AHI of 1.5 to shake a stick at.Evan wrote:Well, it didn't do so well. The back of my head is sore, I got more leakage and AHI went from 1.1 to 1.5. Looks like I'll be modding one or both of my masks. I wonder if the XL nasal seal would help reduce leaks?
Did you try using the leg cut off a pair of panty hose tights to cradle the Headrest's nasal pillows at your nostrils? That can make more difference in stopping leaks than even a different size of pillows can do.
I would not be able to wear the Headrest at all if I didn't use an extra "cradling" strap to keep the nasal pillows from moving. Without that strap, it would be a useless mask for me. With the strap, it's the best mask I've ever had. With the strap I can wear either medium or large nasal pillows...the size doesn't matter so much if a "sling" (the cradling extra strap) is in place.

LOL! Well, not just panty hose. To really work well, it's gotta be the leg off a pair of "tights", not the leg off a pair of plain pantyhose.Evan wrote:OK, I'm off in search of panty hose!
Or try the rubberband trick that jcarn described:

If this isn’t rocket science why are there so many spaceshots?

Just kidding, I made do with panty hose last night and it worked great. Ahhh, the freedom to sleep almost the way I did pre-cpap!!!!
