Thanks for the news article reference. Too bad it wasn't evenly balanced with some positive comments from bed mates.

"The Mask" and hose needn't be an "all-or-nothing" issue, as most people here know.
I'd rather listen to the constant hum of a small machine than a freight train any night - and that freight train used to be me!

I never thought of THAT :-)

She thought the article was not positive or objective... and remarked that my CPAP hasn't stopped HER from cuddling.

I guess that's the kind of poor news reporting you get by going to an inferior source like that other CPAP web site

My sex life improved a few hundred percent as a result of my PAP treatment. In fact, I have the libido and virility that I had as a twenty-something year old.

And to end the news piece with the impression that CPAP is used to treat snoring lessens the real importance of PAP treatment. Silly humans!

sexy? my spouse is far sexier with it on, because that means no horrendous snoring and that he actually is taking care of himself! and, he knows better than to say anything about mine!

May I repeat my observation on this subject? I find the whole CPAP issue to be one that is the PERFECT screening tool for individuals.

If there is someone who would reject ME for my CPAP, well... I'd have to say, "Sorry, Charlie (even if your name isn't Charlie), you are WAY too superficial for me."

Further, my 50-something brother was recently prescribed CPAP. His wife actually LIKES the exhaust breeze, being menopausal. Who knew?

Exactly. Who are these people having sex while on CPAP?

CPAP hasn't hurt my marriages intimate relations once bit. Call me crazy, but we mess around while we are AWAKE....not asleep and masked up.
