Programing the resprionics REMstar Auto M series A Flex
Hi folks,
It's a long while since I've been here, meaning everything has been going well. However, I seem to have lost a download someone here gave me regarding detailed programing the Resprionics M series. Not the silly pamphlet that comes with the machine, but instructions on how to change the parameters.
If someone could post or email a URL or address with that info. I'd be very grateful.
Cheers, Gordyp.

Hi, somnambulants, (j/k)
I just looked at that URL Brenda sent me and I was interested to see this note:
"Note: As of 3/25/2008 Respironics has indicated their displeasure with us posting their "private and copyrighted for clinician-use only information". As a result we've removed the manuals from this article."
Hey, what a surprise! Seems like we are the great stupid unwashed! Actually, believe it or not it's all about control and money and here's my story:
I'm a Canadian and my sleep clinic doctor told me I had to go to a particular medical supplier/technician where my machine was to cost almost $2000.00. This is after I had argued with him that I needed an 'A-flex' auto machine because of severe gas problems. The fact was that he believed in C-flex fixed pressure machines and hadn't even heard of A-flex. Anyway, I knew I could buy the latest A-flex model for about one third of that price so I went for it.
The fact is some of us are more than capable of monitoring our own Apnia conditions and all I want to do is see if my machine is still programed the way I need it to be. I don't need to pay a lot of money to do that.
This site is great and I've learned a lot from the group. Keep up the good work.
Gordy.

Ha.Ha.....Thanks snoredog, I think that's what I was looking for.
BTW, I've only used one other device, which was a fixed pressure C-pap machine, but I can say after one year of use that the Auto A-Flex is great!
The wonders of technology.....who would have thunk?
Cheers.Gordyp.

How about reading this post and just ignore the parts that refer to the Auto settings.....otherwise they're pretty similar:Anonymous wrote:if someone has a working URL, or a copy of the clinicians guide for the REMstar M-series (I have the Pro) could you please send me a copy...
send to ' maybe4242 at gmail dot com ' thanks a bunch.

Thanks to ALL those who sent me manuals and such for this.. (I was the last 'Guest' who asked for this)
It was really helpful... I'll try to respond to each of your emails individually to thank you again in a more personal way...
Having been working on little sleep... I had found this thread, and while I did notice that the basic procedure for programing the thing was already in this thread... I still had desire to read and/or get as much information about my CPAP device as I can, so virtually anything you all sent to me was/is good information...
I'm sorry if this all is posted elsewhere in this forum... When I did my search of the internet, this was one of the only threads that popped up, and given some of the comments that the old URL was not working, I more or less assumed that getting it via email was the easiest way...
So, Thanks again...
