I was reading the forum for about a month or two before I got my equipment, but then it was almost another two months before I actually joined. (didn't think I had anything to contribute and didn't have any questions......still not sure...... )

I got here about 3 months before my machine etc., and was loaded for bear when I first met the DME (Much to their chagrin - "Oh Oh...an educated customer"). I only lurked for a couple days before I joined because I had tons of questions after reading....
Another couple months and I'll be a year on the hose.....you as well!!!!
Party hearty.....
take care
cheers

Thanks! We'll have a fine one year "breathday"party in June then! I forgot who to credit with the breathday vs birthday idea. Thanks again!! Thanks for all the laughs too : )
kteague wrote:Happy Anniversary! I'll have a piece of cake in your honor. (Thanks!)
Have you gone back to read your early posts just for a reminder of how far you've come? I did that on my first anniversary and had to chuckle - I asked what AHI meant.
Glad you came and stuck around. I'll be getting that piece of cake now.
Kathy.
I took your suggestion and did see how far I've come by looking at my earlier posts. Most important of all, it helped me remember the hope I felt from having the forum. With it I felt that I would be able to tolerate what I then thought of as' intolerable invasive therapy for the rest of my life'.

One year of your life back, no?
And many more to come!

Thanks Di! Yep one year of my life back - it feels wonderful to wake up in the morning versus go from 'sleeping' to sleep walking!
