Call For Help: Explain CPAPtalk In 50 Words or Less

Post by johnnygoodman » Wed Mar 26, 2008 3:56 pm

Howdy,

How would you describe CPAPtalk to someone who is reading about it for the first time, in 50 words or less.

This person could be a dealer, CPAP user, wife of someone with Sleep Apnea, physician, or guy off the street. A good description would tell them all whats going on around here.

Here is my first go:

CPAPtalk.com is an online community of CPAP users who gather together in order to exchange knowledge and encouragement as they work towards improving the treatment of Sleep Apnea.

Pretty clunky.

Johnny

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)

Johnny, Sell the benefits, not the features:

CPAPtalk.com is a service that is greatly improving the lives and health of many people with sleep apnea.

I like Babs response!! I consider many of the regulars to be like family and without their support my cpap in all likely hood would be in the closet.

I agree with Rooster except I would insert one extra word ...

CPAPtalk.com is a service community that is greatly improving the lives and health of many people with sleep apnea.

I really like Babs' response, but then I already know about cpaptalk.com.

So, maybe a variation like:

Got Apnea?
Get Real Help
Meet Real Friends
Get Better Sleep Results
CPAPTALK.com - learning, support, improvement - An Oasis On-line

cpaptalk.com in 50 words or less

Post by papoose » Wed Mar 26, 2008 9:31 pm

I think the previous suggestions are great. Here's a combination of the key ideas offered so far:
cpap.com is an online resource for the support and education of cpap users. By sharing needs, information, and experience, its members build a community and learn how to optimize cpap therapy for effective sleep apnea control.

Cpaptalk – the online place to learn about using cpap from those who've been sleeping with it for tens of thousands of hours. Cpaptalk – where newbies become mavens and pass on the knowledge. Cpaptalk - when you need to be heard by those who've really been there.

I like Bill's post! Of course, I like all of your posts, but being of the Sesame Street generation, I like sound bites.
