Found a new bed pillow...

Post by preemiern » Thu Mar 13, 2008 1:40 am

I found a new pillow that makes sleeping with my bipap a dream!! It is this...

http://www.lnt.com/product/index.jsp?pr ... 32.1332001

from Linens n things. I got two of the mediums--it was a buy one get one free deal, so got both pillows for the price of one. I got the mediums and sleep with one on top of the other. The top one I just squish up so accomodate my mask, and it stays the way I squish it. I have been using a Quattro FF mask, and it doesn't get pushed around. I can even squish my face down into the pillows and the mask doesn't move, and with the way the vent holes are on the quattro, the air coming out is not blocked by the pillows. I have always loved a soft squishy pillow, so the papillow has not worked for me...it is just too hard.
Anyway--just wanted to share my find with those of you who might like squishy pillows!!
Cindy

Thanks, Cindy! That sounds like a good option

Cindy,

Are you a side sleeper? I checked out the link. I would usually buy a firm pillow as I am a side sleeper.

But I see that you use one on top of the other. How do you think that compares to regular pillows that you use?

I have recently wondered about the gel pillows. I just replaced my Target Shapeable Pillows. My husband thinks I have a pillow fetish! I'm trying to convince him that is better than expensive Italian shoes!

Hi Lucky Linda...
Yes, I am a side sleeper. But using two pillows seems very comfortable to me, especially with how squishy they are. they do have three different fills, so maybe you would like the firmer fill. I just find them amazingly comfortable!!

squishy pillows

I have similar pillows from Bed Bath and Beyond. They are the down alternative pillows for allergies. One is medium and one is really soft. They are not gel, but are really soft and squishy. I sleep with them stacked also and use a Quattro FFM that I trade off with a Headrest. The Quattro never slides and neither does the Headrest once I get it properly secured. I love my pillows!! I even take them with me when I travel.

I have the gel pillow also, firm. I'm a side sleeper and this is a lot better for me than the memory foam pillow I've been using without much luck. I love the pillow, only wish I could have gotten a second one half price
