Gumby Day - hurraaaah!!!

Post by GumbyCT » Fri Mar 07, 2008 6:10 pm

Call it G-day or Bi-Day or Gumby-day... just mark your calendar. It has been a little over 13 months AFTER being served my 1st Remstar Plus, @17cm, and being told by my then sleep doc - "That is the cadillac".

About 3 months after that when I got my 1st auto w/smartcard - I remember thinking oh this is great. Then struggling when trying to get to sleep while the pressure ramped up and still waking up feeling tired.

Yea tired of trying to exhale out against the pressure - NO wonder my danm lungs were sooo sore.

Well today - today is the day I finally got my very own Remstar Bi-pap Auto, w/smartcard & HH & hose & Activa Nasal mask. Oh w/Travel case too. I feel like I hit the lottery.

I feel like shouting from the Mountain Top - "Honey I'm HOME".

Soo Many have helped me along the way - it is YOUR day too.
Thank You to ALL,
GumbyCT

edit 10 Mar: also a Tiara Chin Strap TMS-13 - does that make me Queen for a Day?

I know just the machine you need now. It is a Resprionics Aria LX. It can be had for the low introductory offer of $ 125 plus shipping. I am sure you can find details about the machine somewhere here on the forum back in the back pages.

Of course, getting this machine does require you buy some ocean front property in WY from Den. You also need to buy a few bridges for other "above board" forum members.

Of course, you do have to fight over it with -SWS's Aunt Weeza, but I am sure you can beat off the Trojan laden lifeguard she has taking care of her (or is that embezzling her funds - I get confused so easily on details).

After all that is done, I am sure you will agree that the Plus was a Cadillac and you can then send me the new Bipap Auto. Just don't send it to Babs. I want this directly sent to me. Do not pass GO, do not collect $ 200. Just pack it up and Overnight it to this coast ASAP.

All of this aside, congrats on the new machine. I know you have fought hard and long to get it.

Jules

Way to go Gumby!

I was just that excited when I finally managed to get my M series auto bipap.

A word of warning, though - I discovered that the Activa mask will do push-ups on your face when you use the bi-pap. You might want to have an extra mask handy in case that bothers you.

Enjoy your success!

Ain't life grand?
