Nasal masks versus fulll face masks. Why one over the other?

Post by dlgreatsleep » Wed Mar 05, 2008 11:05 pm

Hello Fine Folks!

I'm sure this has been posted before, so please forgive me.

Without knowing which is best, why would one use a full face mask versus a nasal mask? Are there consistent key reasons, say other than mouth breathing? Benefits?

I'm using a full face mask now and it has its challenges.

Thank you!!

If you use a nasal mask and get a good fit, it's still possiable to have the treatment pressure exit your mouth so badly you mighty as well not use it.

With a FF Mask that seals, the mouth is covered. So even if you mouthbreath, you still have treatment. It gives you one less reason to fail. Jim

Since you use a nasal mask, what has been your personal experience?
