ANother question about clinical menu on S8

Post by klparker » Sat Jan 26, 2008 3:33 pm

After checking my clinical results menu on my s8 a day or so ago, I decided to check today and see what my AHI/AI/HI was... and it read NO DATA...
What did I do wrong? Did I mess things up?

The data disappears at Noon. If it was after that.......

But you still should be able to retrieve your weekly/monthly/yearly info, if you're interested.
I used to be able to get my daily info for a couple hours after noon, then realized it was because the internal clock was set several hours late. So make sure the clock is accurate, and then you'll know you exactly which time you have to check it by. Too bad it doesn't have a "trash" function, so you can still retrieve it when you forget.

ok - someone needs to tell me exactly how to get the week/monthly info.
I am very new at this!

AND - how do you check the clock function? I'd like to see if it is set correctly.

Most cpap clocks are set to Greenwich Mean Time. Just keep pressing "enter" and the week/month/year will come up.

The weekly, monthly, 6 month and 1 year Efficacy Data is easily available by pressing the Left and Right buttons, holding them for 3-4 seconds and then using the Left button to Enter. The first reported figure will be that night's data, pressing the Left button again takes you to the weekly average, etc. Left button to Enter, Right button to Exit, Up button to return to the previous screen, Down button to go to the next screen.

To check what time your Resmed is set to requires you to get into the Clinician's Menu which is also where you can intentionally or accidentally alter your CPAP therapy and is best left until such time as you better understand how CPAP therapy works.

You really should go thru your User's Manual and get a good idea of how your Resmed works and what information is available to the patient and how to understand it and access it.
