Post by jhollon » Tue Jan 22, 2008 4:04 pm

i upped my pressure on my machine the other night and noticed it had a setting that said.

"therapy"
CPAP or APAP.

what is the difference and which is better and will my machine actually do it. I know this is an open question, but just wondering

If your machine listed is correct and it is the Remstar Plus it will not let you do apap setting.

Look at the top and check to see which machine you actually have and let us know.

At this moment, I have the MSeries Plus, and I'm pretty sure it does not even mention APAP ...

I think it's possible you don't have the MSeries Plus... but you instead have the either have the MSeries APAP w/ C-Flex or the M Series Auto CPAP with A-Flex.

Before we can answer your questions we should confirm exactly what machine you have.

What does it say on the top of your machine?
