activa strap fix thank you!

Post by catbirdgirl » Mon Dec 31, 2007 6:52 am

I don't remember who posted it, but whoever did post that the straps on the Activa can be rolled to shorten them, THANK YOU.

My only complaint with that mask was that the straps were huge and I kept waking up to adjust them because they were annoying and slid around. Apparently I woke up more than I realized from the annoyance.

well, I rolled them last night and I did not wake up to fix them, the mask felt secure, and I had several dreams last night and woke up feeling pretty perky!

I havent woken up feeling perky in quite some time.

I think I had a really good nights sleep.

Thank you.

Rolled straps

Post by jimbassett » Mon Dec 31, 2007 9:49 am

I don't understand what you mean by rolling the straps to shorten them. The velcro on my Activa straps has lots of room left to shorten them. In fact I could draw the mask up so close to the back of the headgear there would be no way a persons head could fit in there. I assume we are talking about the ResMed Activa nasal mask. Is it possible to show a pic of what you are doing and why? Thanks and Happy New Year and lots of good breathing ahead. jim

they are too big top to bottom, with no way to fix them. so when you roll the straps up, then click them into headset, they fit a normal head. what you are talking about is side-to-side.
