Lifespan of the Liberty

Post by Guest » Sun Dec 23, 2007 7:35 pm

The Liberty is still fairly new to the market, but I am wondering how Liberty masks out there are aging?

Mine is almost four months old and still doing pretty well. It is getting quite cloudy and the silicon is not as "tacky" as it once was (moreso the nasal pillows), but it still provides a good seal. I am using a little more Mack's silicon than I was, but my leaks rates are still consistently under .2cm.

I have received a new Liberty from my DME (insurance pays for one every three months) but have not started using it yet. I want to get as much like out of my first one as possible, and am wondering how others are expereincing aging in this new product...
