If you have not already done so, check out the softwear
called SnagIt, it is a great tool for copying things to
read or to refer to later. I love it, it's great. enjoy.
SnagIt
Re: SnagIt
I have used it for years and couldn't agree with you more. As a matter of fact, you will not find anything else on the net that surpasses this program, I guarantee you!Ms Piggy wrote:If you have not already done so, check out the softwear

It looks really useful, I like that there's a 30 day fully functional free trial. However, it is expensive to purchase. There are free programs that capture screen shots, though they are not as nice as SnagIt.

Expensive to purchase? Com-on, give me a break! $40 isn't going to break any ones pockets for such a grand program. You will find many ways to exploit this program once you get it. Trust me!roncron wrote:It looks really useful, I like that there's a 30 day fully functional free trial. However, it is expensive to purchase. A great way to capture anything on your screen for later viewing is a pdf file "printer" program. You just use your print command, then select the pdf printer to save the file as a pdf for later viewing. AND it's free! Check it out at http://www.primopdf.com/

I agree, there was another thread with that site on it . I downloaded it and has been a great FREE pdf creator. Great piece of software IMORipVW wrote:A great way to capture anything on your screen for later viewing is a pdf file "printer" program. From time-to-time SnagIt offers free downloads of its older version software, and cheaper upgrades to the new.roncron wrote:It looks really useful, I like that there's a 30 day fully functional free trial. Keep your eyes on the Net, and you might have an opportunity to get a good deal.
I put together a lot of training material, and use both of TechSmith's major products SnagIt and Camtasia Studio. I upgraded the SnagIt for less that $20 and received Camtasia Studio as a free download (normally $299).
Plus, I'm from Michigan, and TechSmith is a Michigan company, so if you buy, you can help Michigan's economy (and we sure need that here) .
