Resetting LCD data does NOT affect Compliance Check?

Resetting LCD data does NOT affect Compliance Check?

Does resetting the data (clearing it to check nightly changes w/o smartcard software) also reset your compliance check number, or does it always stay correct despite how many times you reset the LCD?

I don't have your answer as I don't have a m series machine, but if you are resetting the data, I would assume the compliance data would also go bye-bye.
