After being diagnosed a year ago, spending a month on a CPAP, a new study showing Complex Sleep Apnea, and starting treatment with ResMed's VPAP™ Adapt SV, I can say life is good.
With the Adapt I started sleeping undisturbed 10 hours a night. Now I am down to 5.5 of excellent sleep and I feel absolutely fabulous.
I did have some problems with the little hose and plastic hangers getting caught on the bedding, so I cut off one end of the little hose and routed it thru the big hose. I had some condensation problems, but a hose sleeve solved that.
Using the VPAP is now just routine. I did the software thing in the beginning, but once I was properly treated and started sleeping, I can focus on other things. It’s great to be able to dream again. Thanks to this board for answering a lot of my questions. I do believe that you are the primary driver in your health care.
My only beef is that the VPAP takes up a lot of trunk room in our new Goldwing (now that we can go touring), but considering doing without, it is a minor issue.
Again, thanks for all the help.
