anyone ever had a problem with sore and super super dry throat, when you started your cpap? i have been on cpap for almost 3 weeks, and my throat began to get worse, each day last night was the worse, i cant even swallow today. can anyone tell me why this is happening? i have a full face as i am a mouth breather[/i]

You can still have a dry mouth with a full face mask.....if you're mouth breathing.
Making sure your nasal passages are clear before going to bed is essential. Also, depending on what humidifier settings you're using, that can make a difference, too. I don't use ANY heat with mine.....just cold water "pass-over". This helps to open up my nasal passages to breathe better. Warm, moist air can actually work to close up your nasal passages.
Also, practice trying to keep your tongue to the roof of your mouth when you sleep. It'll help seal off the mouth and the air will take the route it's supposed to.
