Can anyone tell me if an apnea will cause my machine to shut off when it is in Auto Off mode? Mine shut off twice a couple of nights ago. Since then I have turned off the Auto mode. Scared me to think that an apnea would last long enough to shut off machine! My AHI on a seven day average is 2.5 to 1.9.
Not sure if it is me or a malfunction in the cpap machine.

Hi neighbor!
I don't believe an Apnea would cause the machine to turn off, but there may be other causes. Many of us have disabled that function. You can read a bit about why at this link:

Thank you so much for this...after reading it I feel much better. I think SnoreDog answered my question, I think I was mouth breathing that caused it.I did not know that that would happen. But , yes, it is now disabled and I feel much better.... Thank you BamaLady and SnoreDog.

Yes, I think that was the problem, me breathing thru my mouth or just having it open with the mask on. It has not shut off since I disabled the Auto Off feature. It worked before, but was with a nasal mask now that I think of it...oh well, I don't need that feature anyway. Or the Auto On, I don't like that either.Sleepy Dog Lover wrote:I think I had that problem. At least it seemed to fix itself when it turned off the "auto-off". That would be a good test to see if that is what is happening.
