My DME is Lincare here in No. Virginia. I called to order a new mask, and guess what? They have dumped my insurance as of October 1, rather un-ceremoniously I might add.
I have been referred to Apria.
I called them and they said they only carry Respironics products. Is that true? Has anyone gotten Resmed products from Apria?
I need filters, and an Activa mask. I shouldn't have to pay out of pocket, but I might have to.
I am wondering if Apria is different in other parts of the country?

Apria and ResMed
I've been using Apria for some 4.5 years. They've gotten me several Activa masks and charged them to Medicare. This is Apria in Athens, GA. But, I've had the best service from cpap.com, in that I purchased my APAP and necessary filters from them. Best of luck to you! Georgia Hosehead
CPAP is wonderful until a cure is found!
Apria and Resmed
I use Apria in North Carolina and received my first Resmed CPAP machine (S7 elite), and Ultra Mirage mask from them in 2005.
The DME does still provide service for above equipment, sending the S7 back to Resmed for service this summer.
I did notice when in there offices that since Resmed's price increases my local DME does now have Respironics machines and products availiable also.
