Review of Padacheeks "Quatro Fix"

Post by Yoga » Thu Nov 08, 2007 11:17 pm

I tried Padacheek's fix for the Quatro for people having redness and soreness on the bridge of the nose . The device was well made. My nose was a little less sore after using it. I could tolerate a nap but at this time not all night. However, I did not experience any leaks into my eyes as some others have reported. I also got better results with fewer leaks while using the "quatro fix."

I am wondering if people whose noses are not perfectly flat on the bridge of the nose are the ones who are having a problem with sore nose bridge problems. My husband has a small flat nose and he is able to use the Quatro with no soreness.

I also cut a small piece of bubble wrap that came with one of my masks from cpapman and put it under the nose flap that padacheek made to see if that would eliminate the soreness. Unfortunately it did not.

Padacheeks other products have worked well for us. Her first product which was to pad the Swift mask straps and eliminate marks on the cheeks also kept the mask from riding up the back of my head which made a big difference for me and made the mask wearable.

After a query to the board regarding a loose collar on the end of an Australian heated hose, padacheek suggested using a hose clamp to keep the collar and hose adapter from coming apart which worked very well. Because the clamp is made of metal, I wrapped it with electrical rubber tape to keep any sharp edges from causing a problem.

Thank you padacheek for allowing me to test your product.

Our best wishes to padacheek for her continued success in helping fellow cpapers.
