Ditto. When I signed up it was 0 of 50. Went back a couple of days later and it was 46 of 50. Now its closed.

haven't heard a word. I'm assuming i was not picked.

I love my Swift II. It would be fun to compare it to something new.

I was in the first five, and I haven't heard anything, either. I'm REALLY hoping I get chosen. I have been wanting to try the Bravo.

This was posted to the forum on Monday. If you weren't contacted, you were not chosen for the challenge.
johnnygoodman wrote:Howdy CPAPtalkers,

Thank you very much for your interest in and support of the CPAPtalk.com Product Challenge. The enrollment period for our first challenge between the Bravo and the Swift II has ended. 403 existing swift users signed up for 50 slots and 5 backup slots. We have emailed out invitations for the 50 primary slots and will email out a backup slot in the case a primary slot holder is non-responsive. I'm sorry that we can't accept all of you for the challenge and I hope that if you were not selected this time, you will keep trying in the many future challenges we will conduct!

From here, the lucky 50 will receive and trial their Bravos. After two weeks, they will receive an email prompting them to vote on their favorite mask and to provide detailed feedback for their decision. The results of their feedback will be compiled and announced on CPAPtalk.com. We will then have the world's first objectively structured, patient satisfaction driven evaluation of the performance of CPAP products.

Johnny

My thinking is, if you don't buy the product being challenged, in this case the swift II, from cpap.com, you won't be selected for the challenge. Otherwise they can't verify that you actually have the product being challenged. So if you are not a cpap.com customer, it is a waste of time to enroll. Too bad they don't spell that out as a lot of the early registrants got their hopes up for nothing.

I guess that I was a lucky one. I signed up when it was 5 of 50 and I got my notification on Monday that I was accepted. UPS tracking said that I should get it today (Friday). I did not buy my Swift II off of cpap.com. Don't know what the criteria is for getting chosen, but I am glad that I got picked. I really like my Swift II but I am a newbie and don't know much about the differences in masks. I'll give a "fair and ballanced" review after I try it out.

I got my Swift II of the cpap auction site so thats kinda like cpap.com. I'm a newbie as well and i would have loved to check out the new product.

I would be nice to know what the criteria is to be picked for future reference.

I'm sure it's fair. Actually, I think it's a great idea. I think think Bravo will out perform the Swift II or at least it will be close. They must know this or they wouldn't have called these 2 products against each other first.

I signed up early on the first day as soon as I became aware of the challenge. Wow!! According to another thread they had over 400 that signed up for the challenge. It would have been difficult to have chosen the contestants but the only thing was they should have told us how you were to be notified if you were chosen. I get a message every time someone post to a thread I have responded to and the emails can become cumbersome. At times I have been known to "trash" my emails without actually going through them unless I know to watch for one. Doubt if I was chosen -- but if so I probably trashed the email not knowing that was how they were notifying people. I figured it would be through the pm on the forum. Oh well next time I will know to watch my emails closer.
