I noticed a few weeks ago that my machine was sounding "different"... I can hear an electronic beeping at times. My ears seem to pick up patterns easily and now I can really hear this noise. My DH also commented last week that the machine seems much louder. It used to be that I could wake up and not hear anything and then think I must have removed the mask and shut off the machine.
I called my DME this afternoon and spoke with a very nice person. I am exchanging my unit for a new one tomorrow. (Thankfully it falls within the one year warranty.) The woman I spoke with uses a CPAP machine herself so it's kind of nice when she calls every few months to see how everything is going. I have to say that I am very impressed with the customer service I've received.
I wonder why my machine is making noises?

Yea, I know what you mean. After three months' use my apap is a bit noisier too. The RT checked it out and everything seemed to check out normally. I've heard others comment about replacing an old hose and noticing a difference. I might have to try that. Good thing they're going to let you trade.
