I did buy from cpap.com

Very good experience, shipped to Canada via FedEx.
Will continue buying from these guys.
Since I've already posted everything, just do search, enter my name Vadim as a keyword, you'll see.

TV and PC are my enemies. I'd rather walk for 30 min. than sit in front of TV/PC for 2 hours.

I also bought mine from CPAP.COM, You won't find a better group of people to do business with. I got a Remstar APAP,(Classic Tank), and HH. delivered as ordered, no regrets. Jim

And them providing this forum, has been a asset, to the compliance of many who would not have continued with their treatment. You might say Lifesaving.

I got my machine from CPAP.com and have also ordered supplies from them. They're fabulous, and I'd say that even if they didn't host this forum.

I get all my stuff from cpap.com and have been very happy with the service! I wish my insurance would allow me to deal with them!

Bought mine from CPAP.com as well. Best prices (I shopped around!), super service. Just to give you an example of how good they are--I ordered my Pad-A-Cheek from them, and they shipped it via USPS since it was a small item--when it didn't arrive, they sent me another via UPS for FREE! Now, that's excellent service.

Ted, I have HIP insurance. I can either go thru Apria or pay for my own stuff. HIP will not reimburse for ANYTHING. I get what little I can thru HIP and the rest I get from cpap.com.

Oh well.

Oh, I see--yes, all insurance coverage is different. It is such a shame that some companies have rules that force us to pay higher prices or settle for inferior products is order for them to pay.

Take care,

Ted

So correct me if I'm wrong but all purchases made through CPAP.com are straight out of pocket purchases because CPAP.com doesn't accept any kind of insurance. Is that correct?

If you buy from cpap.com you have to pay upfront (or put it on plastic).

Your insurance may or may not reimburse you for your purchases. You need to check that in advance to see if they will.

Some insurances will not allow any reimbursement when you don't use a vendor on their list; some will not allow any online vendors, and some insurances will be very nice and allow you to submit your receipts and reimburse you.

Also, CPAP.com suggests http://www.billmyinsurance.com/ as another way of using your insurance to purchase through them.
