Help interpreting software results - VPAP Malibu

Post by Allan-Dallas » Tue Oct 30, 2007 12:44 pm

I have the VPAP Malibu and was not shown the software feature. My DME had me change my pressure, so I now know how to access the Clinical part of the Malibu settings.

I am new to CPAP and am still waiting for a great night's sleep, as I had during my CPAP study. If I'm reading these results correctly, the following is what it showed for last nite. I woke up tired, etc...... obviously not getting the benefits of CPAP yet.

Leak: 1L
VT: 200-700
Resp Rate: 12-29
MV: 4.9-10.3
Press: 18.0
AHI: 14.3
AI: 5.2

My original prescribed pressure was 20/16, but I could not handle at first. But, I did fine last nite at 18/14, so maybe I'm just getting use to the pressure. My first thought was to up my pressure back to 20/18. Thoughts? Thanks guys.
