Higher Pressure Causing Sinus Problems?

Post by Lee Lee » Mon Oct 29, 2007 8:11 am

I have a nasty sinus infection, I'm not prone to them.
I was reading a ferw things on this forum that seem to link sinus infections with hgiher pressure.
I actually did raise my pressure a week ago (CPAP with EPR).
I wonder why the increased pressure would cause an infection.
Anyone else have this experience?

I am wondering the same thing. I switched from a CPAP at 7 to an auto set to 5 and 15 on Friday. Since then my nose/sinus have been stuffed and it is hard to breath through my nose (I actually can breath easier with the mask on then without it at this point). I don't have software yet but the 7 day average 90% pressure says 14.5. Does that mean my pressure has been going that high? Could that be the cause of my head cold like symptoms or am I just sick?
