I'm on my second mask and absolutely hate it. My first was a Liberty Mirage, but I couldn't handle the nasal pillows (blew too hard). I then switched to the Mirage Ultra and I HATE it and can't sleep with it. Now that I'm fairly accustomed to everything else (noise, lights, air) I'm hoping I can leave the full face mask behind (I don't breathe through my mouth) and try a regular mask. But I need one that doesn't use pillows. Is there such a thing?
Any masks that don't use nasal pillows?
There are way more styles of nasal cushion interfaces than there are nasal pillow or full face interfaces! In fact, I'd venture a guess there are more styles of nasal cushion interfaces than there are styles of full face and nasal pillows combined.

well if want something that is small and light, seals well and is nearly silent try a Soyala nasal mask.
It is critical you get it sized correctly, if you are currently using a medium-standard in other masks, I suggest a large as they have a tendency to run smaller. The Soyala Large is about the same as others Medium.
Get a interface too small it will ride down farther on the bridge of the nose and leave a nice divot to wear around in the morning.
It costs a bit more than other interfaces since it is made in Germany and the dollar vs euro isn't doing so hot, but worth it in my opinion:

I prefer nasal pillows masks, but if I were going to use a traditional nasal mask (covers the nose) these are the three that worked best for me:
Puritan Bennett DreamFIT mask (not the "Dreamseal attachment for the Breeze.") Size "Shallow."
Soyala
Activa - shallow
Of course every mask is different for different people. Any time a mask offers a size "shallow", that's what I like, even though I can wear a "standard" size ok. Shallow is a tad wider (not as likely to press against the sides of the nose) and not quite as long vertically from bridge of nose to lip underneath the nostrils.
