Pur sleep looks promising

I got my Pur sleep starter kit yesterday.

While none of the scents in the kit "Spice, Clear, or Fresh" are my favorite scents in the world, I tried out the Spice last night.

My wife loves it though....

It was pretty strong at first... then I fell asleep. 6 hours and 28 minutes later, I woke up... full of air. I had to go take care of that issue (that makes for an interesting aroma... orange and clove toots) then I tried to go back to sleep for a while... didn't happen.

The 6 and a half hour mark is an improvement over the past week. I'd been average just over 4 hours due to some allergy sinus stuff I'm fighting.

I think I'd really like the vanilla smell. Do they make a roast beef version??

My experience with Pur Sleep has been very positive. It helps me relax - Spice in particular because the scent brings back happy memories for me. I go to sleep quicker and am no longer waking up multiple times each night.

Windfall, glad to hear it! Your comment reminds me of another who said that the first time he used Spice he had a vivid dream of being with his wife on a tropical island and . . . "I won't share the rest" he said. A happy dream I guess.

JQP, glad to hear you're doing better. When you started your thread a few weeks ago about not being able to sleep very long it really reminded me of my eperience on CPAP. This stuff seriously changed my life. I wouldn't have believed it had it not happened to me so I appreciate those who feel skeptical about it. I have honestly not had one product return to date (though there are bound to be some) so something must be working! But the orange & clove toots - that's a first!

Maybe we need a thread for trading Pur Sleep scents?

I'm sure you're right about smells and different people. I think we all have associations with scents we don't even remember.

Although I can't say Pur-Sleep "fixed" my chronic insomnia, I find I look forward to putting the two drops on the pad and smelling it just as I'm getting into bed. I think it helps me to relax and gives me something for focus. I wouldn't want to be without it

Trust me darlin' people trade scents here all the time. Unfortunately I like Clear and Peace and don't have anything I can trade for yours

Just my experience.... When opening the bottles for a first sniff, several of them weren't my FAVORITE scents, but I've been using them successfully, nonetheless. I loved the Spice from the get-go, but have found good results with Clear, Peace, & Comfort.

Don't use too much. Just one or two drops. Less is more.

I find them initially pleasant, then they just fade into unconsciousness. I only smell them again if I take my mask off, then only just a brief whiff.

Hi:

I wonder what I am doing wrong. I bought 6 bottles of Pur-sleep and they are all seeming to be empty.

i only use 2 drops per night. At this rate, pur-sleep will cost me a fortune.

Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?

DreamWeaver,
When you say "seemingly" empty, does that mean nothing comes out when trying to use them? Sometimes they don't come out readily. Have you held the bottles up to the light to see if they are truly empty or just being stubborn?

You and your (TOOTS) are just way to funny, , funniest thing I have heard since your last post about the (GAS), DON"T STOP, "keep em comin" Laughing like that is good for the "Soul" and the way you word it is so funny, my husband hears me laughing so hysterically that he has to come in the computer room to see what is going on, I have him read your posts and we are just rolling. We have always made jokes about the gas thing around here to keep us laughing and now we have you talking about the same funny subject! And, YES, I often get that gas thing, WOW is it painful or what? Feels like i'm getting ready to have a heart attack or something..... I should be getting my first supply of PUR-SLEEP this tuesday and I can't wait, I ordered the large supply, I think it comes with 8 little bottles, I just hope my "TOOTS" don't smell like (cloves & ?) !!!
