Quattro/UMFF sizing compaison?

Post by PaulGuy » Sat Sep 22, 2007 4:45 pm

Hi all,
I currently use a Quatro full face, size medium. I've been toying with the idea of trying a UMFF. Any experience with the sizing on the 2 masks? If I use a Medium on the Quattro should I get a medium UMFF?

Paul

Yep......unless your medium Quattro is a little on the small-ish side.
Go to CPAP.COM's mask sizing site and select #5. My advice on sizing the UMFF is if your measurement falls halfway in-between sizes, to go to the next size larger. I have a Large Standard UMFF and got a Large Quattro. The Quattro feels just a little bit larger than the UMFF, but I don't think a Medium Quattro would be quite large enough for me.

I've got a medium of both. They are not shaped the same, but I think medium is the right size for me for both.

Size is pretty close as near as I can tell. I use a medium in both so would guess you're on the right track with your assumption.

Cpap.com told me the sizing was identical (for what it's worth).

Where are you guys finding the Quattro sizing guide at Cpap.com?
I have checked it a couple of times and only see the UM listed. No sign of the Quattro anywhere.

Respironics DreamStation
Pressure = 11.5 min 14.5 max
C-Flex = 1

Dreamwear FF

I think there's an actual sizing guide/template for the Quattro that ResMed will send you if you call them.

But, basically it runs about the same sizes as the corresponding UMFF sizes.
