One week on CPAP!

Post by Megawatt » Tue Sep 18, 2007 10:11 pm

Just finished my first week on CPAP; I have to say that I've been really blessed that I have done so well considering what I’ve read about the trials some people have been through. I have the Resmed liberty mask and it is so comfortable that when I get into bed and settled down I really don’t have a problem wearing it. Most of the time when I’m waking up I have to look at the machine to see what pressure I’m at. Most of the time it’s around 10.4 + and I don’t feel any resistance when I breath. I’m starting to feel better too. So let’s hope that this is a harbinger of thing to come.

Congratulations. What machine are using that actually shows your pressure in decimals?

I’ve got the Resmed S8 Autoset Advantage, and the Mirage Liberty mask.

Congrats on the good experience with xpaping. Sounds like you are well on the road to better sleeping.
Best of luck to you.
Rich.
