Noisy APAP

Hi all.
I am currently using an M-series pro with the data card and software. The problem I have been having is there has been a high pitched whine comine either from the unit or my mask every night. It has been waking me up at night (and my wife as well). Anyone have this sort of problem? The unit is quietest on straight CPAP (11.0 cm) with no C-Flex. Gets much noisier when it is in APAP mode (8-16 cm with C-Flex). In general, I have found this unit noisier than my old Remstar Plus unit (which thankfully still works). What sorts of experience do others have with the M-Series Pro?
