Free copy of encore software

Post by BrazilianOne » Mon Sep 10, 2007 12:01 pm

Hi, I'm a new cpap user, I have a Respironics auto M series with C-flex machine. I'm interested in to follow my sleep progress with the encore software, but when I tried to buy it I wasn't able to found it. Now I'm looking for a free copy and there is an only torrent available and it doesn't work.
Can some one pleeaasssseeee publish/upload a copy or make more torrents?
Please, also apologyse my english mistakes. Thanks in advance.

Just a little note...

Just for your own information I thought you might like to know - that I think you referred to 'To Rent" (rather than buying) in your note, however the word 'torrent' means very heavy rain, as in a storm . Sorry I can't help about the software.

Bittorrent uses "torrents". Files that contain information about a program being shared in a internet peer to peer community. It is a way to get ANYTHING off of the internet...movies, video, music, programs, etc. There are websites with indexes of "torrents" available.

I am sure you don't want the details of how it works! But that is what he meant by "torrent".

It's 279.96 US$ with express shipping(one week) from Australia for the bundle.

Hi, I'd like to share a thinking with you.
If the software out there, I mean out of Brazil, costs US$ 300 and considering the exchange rate that is around R$ 2 to US$ 1 (two reais to one united states dollar), plus the import taxes that are 60%, now we have that the software price, receiving it into Brazil would be $ 960.
I'm not telling you that 'sharing' the software is a rigth practice, but you people from United States, Canada, Europe Union countries, bethen a few other have to realize that for people from 'third cathegory' countries it is almost impossible to buy some things like you do.
With your permission, do you think that is necessary for a cpap user to know the information about their sleep nigth/ I think it is. And, do you think it is fair some user have to pay $ 960 to have access to this? I think it is not!
Please appologyse my english mistakes and understand that I don't mean to offend any body there, just sharing a relity with you.
Best regards.

As long as people don't join in the forum, and fill in their profile it's harder to find the answers we all seek. Being part of the group makes it easier for us all to deal with Apnea. Jim

Goofproof, I appreciate the encouragement to join the group. I don't talk a lot but type even less. I was diagnosed with this sleep apnea in july and have been on the autopap since late july. I've just been on the hybrid for eight days now and really think this is the one. I can't tell you and anyother regular members of this forum how much help you all have been in getting through and understanding this. So much I could say but not real good with getting it out. After my first print out of the data I think I'll try for the whole setup of the Encore software and card reader. My DME couldn't even read my first card and swithched machines for a new one. But the sleep doc did get the first card to read. I'm hoping any help I can get from the data will make this treatment better all the time. As I read from some one before, Patience is the key.
Thanks again to you and all other that take the time to educate us newbies.
