My Sleeping Partner has come back home!!
My CPAP machine has been repaired and is finally back home tonight!
Ahh, I am already excited to curl up with my humidifier and Cflex and all those things I didn't have on my temporary backup machine.
I think I am actually going to go to bed early tonight! The backup machine was okay, but I really missed the responsiveness of the auto.

I'll bet the machine is as happy to be back home as you are to have it back!

Thanks for understanding, guys!
Now I can resume monitoring my stats again. I just looked it up and it has been one month to the day that the machine broke.
And you're so right, Kattitude! At diagnosis, I was relieved to finally know what was wrong with me, but then when it began to sink in that I had to be married to that darned mask/machine for life, I had some emotions over it.
After gaining so much of my life back with therapy, I too cannot imagine going without now.
Funny how that changes.

You know, LyleHaze, although I am quite capable of innuendos, I was seriously JUST extolling the virtues of my machine this time! What does that say about me??!!LyleHaze wrote:"The backup machine was okay, but I really missed the responsiveness of the auto."
Definetly. It's great to have a responsive sleeping partner.
Good Rest to you,
LyleHaze
J.A.Taylor, last night's beauty rest was fabulous! Having the Cflex makes more difference than I realized. And I also appreciated the auto response more than I remember doing before. I kept checking to make sure it was on, because breathing was so effortless in comparison to the straight blowing of the backup machine.
I also loved having the humidifier again. You don't realize how much these little things contribute to the sleep experience as a whole until you go without them for a while. I didn't wake up until my alarm went off this morning. And......I was able to check my stats...ONE apnea episode of a 6-second duration. How is that for beauty sleep!!!!!
I wish I could afford another "good" quality machine as a backup!
