Might anyone have a clue how to determine the serial number of the data module that is typically installed in the back of S8 APAP/CPAP units? Or, if that's too easy, how does one determine the data module's software version?
Serial Number of ResMed Data Module
Are you talking about the ResLink module for the S8s? Unplug it from the xPAP and look at the inner face that fits against the xPAP. Its there. ResLink has a shorter, wider Smart Card than the "regular" S8 data cards.
Otherwise, for the "regular" data card module the software version should print out in Patient Notes when you download. Its also available via the LED screen's Clinician's Menu.

The "regular" datacard interface is part of the xPAP machine for S8 flow generators that have a datacard interface..... so the serial number of the flow generator is the only meaningful "serial" number.Anonymous wrote:I'm interested in the "regular" data card module -- serial number of module and of module software.
As far as the firmware version goes, again it is the firemware version of the flow generator, and will be number of the general form...
